WHAT IS RULE OF THIRDS?
Rule of Thirds is a Japanese comfort food restaurant in Greenpoint. The wedding will be in their adjoining event space, where you can catch a glimpse of the Empire State Building from their unique mirrored sky light. And since its an active restaurant the food will be fresh and hot! (except for the raw bar 😉)
WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
The venue is in the Williamsburg & Greenpoint part of North Brooklyn. HERE is a selection of hotels in that area as well as an option to stay in our neck of the woods (Fort Greene/Downtown Brooklyn). Only a 30 minute car or subway ride to the venue.
OK, BUT WHERE ELSE CAN I STAY?
New York City has outlawed Airbnbs (we support tenants rights!), so that is not an option for this weekend. Unless you are brave and want to take a chance on one. There are some alternatives like Sonder rentals, but they are a bit further from the venue. Or you can stay in Manahattan and have a metropolitan weekend. A trip to the venue would be about 30-40 minutes by car.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
The dress code will be cocktail attire. Dress to impress! Weather in Brooklyn that time of year will be warm. Expect temperatures between 75 and 83 degrees.
